I am an AHA (American Heart Association) instructor and try to convey the importance of saving a life in the first moments of cardiac arrest.

A course in first aid and life-saving maneuvers.

The training is aimed at caregivers, nurses, OSS, family assistants, carers and all people who want to learn the use of defibrillators in jargon called AEDs. When caring for an elderly person, it may happen that you need urgent first aid or intervene to unblock the airways. The course includes adequate theoretical and practical training, participation in a frontal lesson and massage on exercise mannequins where, thanks to modern technologies, they are able to simulate the conditions most faithful to reality.

COURSE PROGRAM (duration of 5 hours in person)

Ø The emergency system, the response centers and the single number 112

Ø Chain of survival in adult and pediatric victims

Ø Recognize cardiac arrest early

Ø Alert emergency services promptly

Ø Perform a quality cardiac massage in adults, children and infants

Ø Mouth-to-mouth and pocket mask ventilation

Ø Use of the defibrillator with adult and pediatric victims

Ø BLS in pediatric age

Ø Resolution of choking in elderly patients, adults, children and infants

On the back cover of the Family and Friends manual that each student will receive for free, there is a detachable die-cut card which certifies participation in the course and can be kept together with identity documents.
